Summary

This role focuses on the comprehensive design and execution of functional, aesthetically pleasing office environments. The position involves guiding projects from the initial conceptual phase to final delivery, ensuring that all spatial solutions align with client needs while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards. The office architect plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between creative vision and technical implementation, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality built environments.

Responsibilities

Design and develop visually appealing and functional office layouts.
Create detailed architectural plans, spatial layouts, and three-dimensional visualizations.
Formulate space planning strategies tailored to specific client objectives.
Liaise and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and external consultants.
Curate selections for materials, surface finishes, furnishings, and fixtures.
Verify that all design proposals meet applicable building codes and safety regulations.
Perform on-site inspections and oversee the execution of project work.
Evaluate construction progress to confirm alignment with design specifications.
Oversee design modifications and offer technical resolutions to emerging challenges.
Provide end-to-end project support, from initial concept through to project closure.

Requirements

Proficiency in designing functional and attractive office spaces.
Capability to produce architectural drawings, layouts, and 3D concepts.
Experience in developing space plans that address client requirements.
Strong coordination skills with engineers, contractors, and consultants.
Knowledge of selecting appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and fittings.
Understanding of building codes and safety standards to ensure compliance.
Ability to conduct site visits and monitor project implementation.
Skill in reviewing construction work to verify adherence to design specifications.
Competence in managing design revisions and providing technical solutions.
Capacity to support projects throughout the entire lifecycle from concept to completion.
