The Operations Data Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making across operational functions. By collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex operational data from diverse sources—including Purchasing, Inventory, Preppers, Pickers & Sorters, QCo, QA, Facility (Logs & POSM), Safety Logs, and Logistics (Stock Handler 1 & 2, Manifester, Drivers)—this role ensures accurate, timely, and actionable insights. The analyst monitors KPIs, identifies performance trends, uncovers inefficiencies, and delivers strategic recommendations to enhance productivity, reduce bottlenecks, and support continuous improvement. Through robust reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration, the Operations Data Analyst enables operational excellence and aligns data-driven strategies with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Gather, organize, and maintain operational data from multiple systems and teams, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Develop and manage databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to support data integrity and accessibility.
Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
Analyze operational performance data to detect trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports with clear insights.
Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to support real-time decision-making.
Track and report on key operational metrics and KPIs across inventory, logistics, procurement, production, and service delivery.
Measure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness, identifying operational bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
Conduct root cause analysis to address recurring operational challenges.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data-backed recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and refine operational processes.
Evaluate the impact of process changes and improvement projects on performance outcomes.
Assist in developing SOPs and performance frameworks based on data trends.
Analyze historical data to support forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
Provide analytical input for budgeting, target-setting, and operational planning.
Present findings, insights, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
Partner with operations, finance, procurement, logistics, and other departments on strategic and operational projects.
