Paralegal

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze legal, immigration, medical, financial, court, employment, and other case documents to identify key facts, inconsistencies, missing information, and evidentiary gaps.
  


• Prepare case chronologies, document summaries, evidence tables, declarations, witness statements, and other case materials for attorney review.
  


• Conduct structured client and witness interviews, ask relevant follow-up questions, and accurately document responses.
  


• Prepare and support immigration applications, including VAWA, asylum, waiver, family-based, and employment-related applications, as well as responses to government notices.
  


• Collect, review, organize, and index supporting evidence and follow up with clients for outstanding documents.
  


• Track case tasks, deadlines, filing requirements, and client deliverables, escalating potential delays or issues promptly.
  


• Communicate professionally with clients while referring legal advice, strategy, and legal judgment to the supervising attorney.
  


• Proofread and quality-check forms, declarations, exhibits, and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  


• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with the firm's information-security and professional-ethics requirements.
