Procurement Officer

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Officer to manage our garment factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent market knowledge, and the ability to navigate the fabric market with ease. We prefer a female candidate for this role.

 Responsibilities:

- Source and purchase high-quality fabrics, threads, and other materials for garment production
- Develop and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on fabric trends, prices, and availability
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement processes

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the garment or textile industry
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, including types, qualities, and applications
-Must be able to go to the market and source for fabrics
- Excellent market knowledge and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
