About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced SRHR Programme Lead to join our client’s programme team. This role is central to the planning, execution, and management of SRHR initiatives and cross -cutting youth development projects.The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership for the SRHR desk, ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables, drive knowledge production and capacity building, and contribute to the organization’s fundraising and resource mobilization efforts. The candidate will also support monitoring and evaluation (M&E) processes, supervise team members, and collaborate across programme units to enhance impact.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of programmes and activities, especially on the SRHR desk of the organisation as agreed upon by the management team.
Ensure SRHR projects and programmes of the organisation are done in accordance with established work plan, timeline, content, and expected results.
Support field data collection and study to ensure support, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of project activities.
Support in resource mobilisation through proposal writing, concept note designs and other organisational fundraising activities.
Support and develop technical and programmatic reports, policy briefs, fact sheets, concept notes, proposals and other contributions for publication or submissions.
Support knowledge management, capacity building, and content production for external use in the form of IEC/BCC materials.
Supervise human resources and direct activities under the SRHR Desk.
Support demand generation activities for specific sexual and reproductive health and rights services among adolescents and young people in Nigeria.
Support other programmatic desks as required within the organisation.
Support and advice on monitoring and evaluation of projects and activities.
Work closely with the project officer and other project team members to ensure excellent data and impact reporting on all projects.
Design and monitor project work plans, log frames, initiate and oversee research and data collection for all projects and activities.
Assist in internal evaluation and quality assessment of project data.
Maintain the project database for learning outcomes.
Work with staff from various projects to review project performance and project against established baselines and annual indicator targets.
Supporting other project activities in the organisation.
Requirements
A first degree, preferably in health or social sciences. A master degree in a relevant field is an edge;
Minimum of two years relevant work experience providing programmes support/implementation on sexual and reproductive health -related programmes with a non -governmental organisation or social enterprise;
Demonstrable technical understanding of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Right issues at the national, regional and international stage;
Professional writing and verbal communication skills for reports, letters, concept notes and proposals writing coupled with session delivery is a priority;
Ability to work comfortably with major Microsoft suites and Google products;
Demonstrate attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision while collaborating with the team;
Applicant should not be more than 30 years old at the time of submission;
Fluency in the Yoruba language is a MUST for this role because of the local context of assignments
Disposed to travelling within and outside Ibadan at short notice
Benefits
Compensation: 200,000 to N350,000
