ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under over all supervision of the Head of sub office of WFP, the Programme Policy Officer will provide overall technical guidance on implementation of all livelihood programmes in close collaboration with WFP CO and Area offices, and counterparts including State government, UN agencies/RBA and NGO counterparts. The staff will be responsible for the following duties.

Manage integrated resilience programme implementation period through project work plan, log frame, ensuring alignment with programme policies.

2.
Technical support and assistance to the field office in the development and implementation of activities and overall monitoring.
3.
Analyse operational community issues in the development of programme activities by using 3PA, WFP cooperating tool to identify the needs of the community.
4.
Lead the selection and management of CPs including contribution to the review of FLA document and budget process in collaboration with relative units a s well as support staff in the preparation of FLAs as necessary.
5.
Lead the engagement of external stakeholders including state and sister UN Agencies.
6.
Liaise with cross functional WFP units to ensure effective collaboration, monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects and support the area offices with gathering and reviewing of CPs monthly and quarterly reports in the provided formats ensuring data consistency.
7.
Coordinate the implementation of the asset creation activities and prepare regular update on cash transfers as required. Lead the capacity strengthening if CPs, staffs and relevant government stakeholders.
8.
Act as a point of contact for resolution arrange of operational queries and problems within specific technical area of responsibility.
9.
Other duties assigned by the head of Programme, AO and SO which are relevant to smooth operation of the BMZ, MCF and other resilience related programme.
10. Oversee and manage technical teams at the sub-office level, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to programmatic guidelines.
11. Serve as OiC, Head of Sub-Office in the absence of the substantive Head, ensuring continuity of operations.
12. Prepare high-quality reports, case studies, and communication and knowledge management materials to document program progress, impact, and lessons learned.
