     ROLE SUMMARY

    

    
The Program Manager will oversee the daily operations and coordination of the Foundation’s activities while ensuring smooth execution of programs and initiatives. The role involves managing stakeholders and partnerships, coordinating communications, overseeing the Foundation’s online presence, and ensuring proper reporting and accountability processes.

     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    

    
• Manage operations and organisational activities

    

    
• Create activity calendars around milestones for Tosyn & the sickle cell community

    

    
• Manage the organisation’s website & social media presence

    

    
• Manage partners and stakeholders

    

    
• Serve as contact person for the organisation

    

    
• Ensure donations are properly reported & acknowledged

    

    
• Liaise with the accountant to provide account updates

    

    
 

    

    

     ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

    

    
• Previous work experience in a similar role

    

    
• University degree in Social Sciences or Humanities (minimum of Second Class)

    

    
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

    

    
• Ability to use cloud storage platforms like Google Drive & Dropbox

    

    
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player

    

    
• Excellent verbal, organisational & interpersonal skills

    

    
• Good to excellent written and spoken English

    

    
• Ability to work under direction while taking personal responsibility

    

    
• Strong decision-making & problem-solving skills

    

    
• Ability to plan, schedule & monitor work effectively

    

    
• Ability to work under pressure while paying attention to detail

Requirements

• Timely and accurate weekly status reports to the Chairman
