Job Description - Project Manager (Technology)

A Project Manager in Avetium is responsible for overseeing and delivering of technology projects across cross -functional teams. You will bridge the gap between engineering teams, product managers and executive stake holders. You're ensuring that our technical solutions deliver real world value on time and within budget.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Project Lifecycle Management; Lead projects from initial discovery and scoping through development, testing, and deployment.

Agile Orchestration: Facilitate Sprint planning, daily stand -ups, retrospectives, and demos.

Stakeholder Alignment: Manage expectations across departments (Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and UX) to ensure project goals are aligned with broader business objectives

Resource & Capacity Planning: Work with Engineering Leads to balance team bandwidth, identifying bottlenecks before they impact delivery.

Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks. You don't just report problems; you bring data -backed solutions and mitigation plans to the table.

Documentation: Maintain high -quality project documentation, including roadmaps, requirement docs, and post -mortem reports

Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards, including client

and internal benchmarks, through comprehensive testing and review

processes.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

Experience: minimum of 5 years of project management experience, specifically within a software development or SaaS environment.

Technical Literacy: You don't need to write code, but you must be able to understand technical architecture discussions and explain "the why" behind technical debt or API limitations.

Tools: Mastery of project management software (e.g., Jira, Linear, Asana, or Monday.com) and documentation tools like Confluence or Notion.

Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kan ban. (PMP or CSM certifications are a plus, but proven experience is preferred).

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills. You should be as comfortable talking to a backend engineer as you are presenting to a VP.
