Job Description - QA Engineer

Whyte Cleon Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. As a QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that guarantee the functionality and performance of our applications. Your expertise will help us identify issues early in the development process, allowing us to maintain a high standard of quality across our offerings. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and load testing on various applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues in a clear and organized manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Automate testing processes to improve efficiency and coverage using appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Perform risk assessments and prioritization of testing efforts based on project timelines and impacts.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve development processes and software quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role in software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
