Position Description
The Regional Trainer will be responsible for designing,
delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and
knowledge of employees within a specific geographical region. The ideal
candidate should have a passion for learning and development, excellent
presentation skills, and the ability to adapt training strategies to meet the
diverse needs of a regional workforce.
Role Responsibilities:
Training Program Development:
â Collaborate with the rest of the training
team and regional management to identify training needs and goals.
â Design and develop training programs that
align with organizational objectives and regional requirements.
Facilitation and Delivery:
â Conduct engaging and effective training
sessions for employees at various levels.
â Utilize a variety of training methods and
technologies to accommodate different learning styles.
Onboarding, Orientation & training of agents:
â Facilitate onboarding & training
sessions for new hires, agents (Solar energy promoters, technicians &
Collection Officers), and partners ensuring a smooth transition into the
company culture and processes.
â Provide orientation training on company
policies, procedures, and values for the agents
â work with the regional teams to grow the
number of agents & experience centers in a region.
Skill Enhancement Workshops:
â Organize workshops to enhance specific
skills required for job roles within the region.
â Tailor training content to address
regional challenges and industry trends.
Performance Evaluation:
â Assess the effectiveness of training
programs through participant feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
â Implement improvements based on feedback
and changing business needs.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
â Work closely with regional managers to
understand specific training requirements and align programs with business
objectives.
â Build strong relationships with department
heads to ensure training initiatives support departmental goals.
Training Documentation:
â Create and maintain training materials,
manuals, and documentation.
â Keep training materials up to date with
the latest industry standards and company policies.
Regional Compliance:
â Stay informed about regional regulations
and compliance requirements relevant to training and development.
â Ensure training programs adhere to legal
and regulatory standards.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
â Bachelor's degree in Education, Human
Resources, Business, or a related field.
â Proven experience as a trainer, preferably
in a regional or multi-location capacity for at least 2 years.
â Excellent presentation and communication
skills.
â Strong organizational and project
management abilities.
â Ability to travel within the assigned
region as needed.
â Proficiency in learning management systems
and training software.
â Certifications in training and development
are a plus
â Learning Management Systems (LMS): Proficient in using platforms for
delivering and tracking training programs.
â Webinar and Virtual Meeting Software: Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Teams, and Zoom for online training
sessions, facilitating interactive discussions, and managing participant
engagement.
â Microsoft
Office Suite:
MS Word: Skilled in
creating and formatting training manuals, guides, and documentation.
MS Excel:
Proficient in data analysis, tracking training metrics, and generating reports
to evaluate program effectiveness.
MS PowerPoint:
Expert in designing engaging presentations to enhance training sessions,
incorporating visuals and interactive elements.
â Google
Suite:
Google Docs:
Experienced in collaborative document creation and editing for training
materials.
Google Sheets:
Proficient in managing data, creating training schedules, and tracking
participant progress.
Google Slides:
Skilled in developing dynamic presentations for both in-person and online
training environments.
