Relationship Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
and result-oriented Relationship Managers, Corporate Banking to manage
and grow corporate banking relationships across key sectors including Oil
& Gas, Telecommunications, Power & Infrastructure, Agriculture, Non-Oil
Exports, Manufacturing, Large Corporates, and Conglomerates. The successful
candidate will be responsible for originating, developing, and managing
corporate client relationships, driving revenue growth, identifying business
opportunities, conducting credit analysis, and preparing high-quality Credit
Approval Memorandum (CAM) for credit requests.

The ideal candidate must
possess in-depth knowledge of the assigned sectors, understand
industry-specific value chains and business dynamics, and demonstrate strong
relationship management and credit analysis capabilities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will
be responsible for:

Relationship Management

• Develop and manage profitable
  relationships with corporate clients across various sectors.
  
• Identify new business
  opportunities and actively grow the bank's corporate customer base.
  
• Maintain regular engagement with
  existing and prospective clients to understand their banking needs.
  
• Deliver tailored banking solutions
  to clients while ensuring superior customer experience.
  

Business Development

• Drive the acquisition of quality
  corporate accounts and revenue-generating opportunities.
  
• Market the bank's products and
  services to existing and potential customers.
  
• Achieve assigned financial and
  business development targets.
  
• Increase wallet share and
  penetration within assigned portfolios.
  

Credit Analysis and CAM
Preparation

• Conduct detailed financial and
  credit analysis on corporate customers.
  
• Prepare comprehensive and
  high-quality Credit Approval Memorandum (CAM) for credit facilities and
  renewals.
  
• Assess credit risks and recommend
  appropriate mitigating measures.
  
• Present credit proposals to
  internal approval committees where required.
  
• Monitor approved credit facilities
  and ensure compliance with credit terms and conditions.
  

Sector Coverage and Advisory

• Maintain deep knowledge of the
  following sectors:

• Understand sector trends, market

• Provide industry insights and
  advisory support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  

Portfolio Management

• Monitor portfolio performance and
  ensure asset quality.
  
• Minimize non-performing loans
  through proactive portfolio monitoring.
  
• Ensure timely renewal of
  facilities and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
  
• Prepare portfolio reviews and
  management reports as required.
  

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to bank policies,
  regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
  
• Perform Know Your Customer (KYC)
  and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements in line with regulatory
  guidelines.
  
• Identify and escalate emerging
  risks within customer portfolios.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-7 years relevant
  experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Relationship
  Management, or Credit Analysis.
  
• Demonstrated experience managing
  clients within one or more of the following sectors:
  
• Oil & Gas
  
• Telecommunications
  
• Power & Infrastructure
  
• Agriculture & Non-Oil Exports
  
• Manufacturing
  
• Large Corporates
  
• Conglomerates
  
• Proven ability to originate and
  structure corporate banking transactions.
  
• Strong understanding of corporate
  financial statements and credit assessment techniques.
  
• Extensive experience in preparing
  and defending Credit Approval Memorandum (CAM).
  
• Strong knowledge of lending
  processes, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Ability to identify business
  opportunities and convert prospects into profitable banking relationships.
  
• Excellent stakeholder engagement
  and client relationship management capabilities.
