Research Technician III

Position:    Research Technician III 

Contract:        2-year renewable contract                                  Location:  Ibadan

Closing Date: 10 October 2025

DUTIES: 

• Assist in the setup of livestock feed and black soldier fly (BSF) trials.
• Support the technical team in maintaining a hygienic environment on the ILRI farm.
• Support the Veterinary team in maintaining the well-being of the livestock on the ILRI farm.
• Provide support for the collection and processing of fodder for livestock.
• Provide support with the production of livestock feed on the ILRI farm.
• Assist in compliance with daily activities on the ILRI research farm.
• Provide support with the production of high-quality cassava peels.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATION:

National Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Production and any other related course of study. The ideal candidate must have minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
