Safety Manager

• Design, implement, and update comprehensive safety policies and emergency response plans tailored to M&E and construction site activities.
  
• Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments to identify hazards; implement corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness.
  
• Ensure all operations meet Nigerian statutory requirements and international safety standards such as OSHA and NIOSH.
  
• Lead the investigation of all near -misses and accidents, identifying causes and preparing detailed reports for senior management.
  
• Organize and facilitate safety induction and specialized training (e.g., working at heights, electrical safety) for all staff and subcontractors.
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  
• Must hold relevant professional certifications (e.g., NIOSH, OSHA, or NEBOSH IGC).
  
• Minimum of 8 years of dedicated experience in construction safety management.
  
• Deep knowledge of safety regulations and hazard control measures specific to mechanical and electrical systems.
  
• Proven ability to manage safety teams and influence site managers to prioritize HSE protocols in a high -pressure environment.
