Role Summary:

The Sales Career Accelerator Program is an entry-level position strategically designed to provide in-depth training and facilitate rapid professional growth within Babban Gona's critical Sales functions. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals who deeply resonate with our passionate commitment to our transformative mission and who are eager to rapidly develop into impactful contributors within our commercial teams. 

As a valued member of the Career Accelerator Program, you will gain hands-on exposure to customer relationship management, order processing, territory management, and sales growth. Throughout this immersive program, you will receive dedicated mentorship and invaluable guidance from experienced professionals, specifically designed to cultivate essential skills and acumen. Our core objective is to rapidly develop you into a highly capable sales professional who consistently delivers results and embodies Babban Gona's core principles.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, poultry farmers, agro-dealers, and other customers.
  
• Receive and process customer orders for agricultural input products.
  
• Work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  
• Follow up on deliveries and resolve customer issues promptly.
  
• Monitor outstanding payments and support timely collections.
  
• Identify opportunities to increase sales within your assigned territory.
  
• Deliver excellent customer service while achieving territory sales targets.
  
• Embrace the principle of "Thinking Big" by identifying opportunities that scale our impact for smallholder farmers.
  
• Demonstrate "Rapid Execution" by acting swiftly on customer needs and territory opportunities.
  
• Embody the principle of "Trusted" by ensuring honesty and reliability in all customer and financial dealings.
  
• Be prepared to "Dive Deep" into customer issues to understand root causes and deliver effective solutions.
  

Requirements:

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  
• 1–3 years' experience in agribusiness sales, FMCG field sales, customer relationship management, merchant acquisition, or territory management.
  
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  
• Experience managing customer accounts, orders, or field operations is an added advantage.
  
• Existing relationships with farmers, poultry farmers, agro-dealers, or rural communities will be an advantage.
  
• Self-motivated, organised, and willing to travel within assigned locations.
  
• A passion for Babban Gona's mission, demonstrating a genuine desire to contribute to our impact through sales and customer relationships.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in agricultural input sales or agri-input distribution.
  
• Familiarity with rural/territory sales operations in Nigeria.
  
• Proficiency in a local language relevant to the assigned territory.
