Our client is a leading IT solution provider company in Nigeria. Due to expansion, they are in need of a Sales Development Representative
Job Summary: As an SDR, you will be the frontline of our sales team. Your primary responsibility is to identify, engage, and qualify prospective customers while booking high-quality meetings and demos for our Account Executives. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to convert interest into opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
• Research and identify potential customers in target industries (SMBs, Enterprises, Public
Sector).
• Generate leads through outbound calls, emails, social selling, and networking.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and qualify prospects using frameworks such as BANT/MEDDIC.
• Book product demos and meetings for the Account Executives.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, leads, and pipeline in CRM (Zoho/Dynamics 365).
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and follow up with leads generated.
• Consistently achieve or exceed targets for meetings booked and pipeline contribution.
Job Requirements
• 1–2 years of experience in a Sales/SDR/BDR role (preferably in SaaS or IT solutions).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong prospecting and cold-calling ability.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho, Dynamics 365, or similar).
• Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven.
• Knowledge of HR solutions, SaaS, or B2B tech sales is a plus.
