Job Description - Sales Engineer




Summary:



We are seeking two highly motivated Sales Engineers to join our expanding team in Ajao Estate, Lagos. This role is critical to driving revenue growth by combining technical expertise with strategic sales execution to deliver innovative engineering and power solutions to industrial and commercial clients. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing high-value deals in a competitive market. You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating technical capabilities into business outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on performance, pipeline development, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:




  • Proactively generate and manage a high-quality pipeline of qualified leads through market research, networking, and targeted outreach

  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles, with a goal of closing 1–2 major deals within the first 90 days of employment

  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and solution demonstrations tailored to client needs and industry challenges

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers in procurement, facility management, and operations

  • Partner closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate technical specifications, timely delivery, and post-sale support

  • Monitor and report on sales KPIs, pipeline health, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement



Requirements



Requirements:




  • 3–6 years of proven sales experience in industrial equipment, generators, or power solutions with a track record of consistent deal closure

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a commission-based sales environment

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and client follow-up skills with a focus on conversion and retention

  • Existing professional network within procurement, facility management, or industrial operations sectors

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Sc.) or equivalent, with in-depth technical knowledge of power systems, electrical infrastructure, and related equipment

  • Self-starter with high motivation, resilience, and the ability to perform independently in a fast-paced, field-based role

  • Must reside within close proximity to Ajao Estate, Lagos, for daily on-site engagement and client visits
