Job Description - Sales Engineer

Job Title: Sales EngineerJob Overview: The Sales Engineer will serve as the technical liaison between the sales team and potential clients. This role involves understanding customer needs, presenting product solutions, and ensuring the successful integration and implementation of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent communication and sales skills. ResponsibilitiesSupport sales executives with solution selling into prospect account basePartner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cyclesModel the financial business case associated with each sales opportunitySuccessfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutionsCreate and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value propositionManage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responsesEffectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancementsCollect and document competitive intelligence  Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.Experience: 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role. Experience in [specific industry] is preferred.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of [industry-specific technologies, products, or services]. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Sales Acumen: Proven track record of supporting sales teams and achieving sales targets. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Capable of developing creative solutions to meet client needs.Organizational Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
