Job Title: Field Sales Executive


Industry: Plastics Manufacturing (PVC Shoe Production)


Employment Type: Full-time






A reputable plastics manufacturing company specializing in high-quality PVC footwear is looking to hire a Field Sales Manager. The ideal candidate is results-driven, understands the dynamics of the PVC footwear market, and can grow sales through strategic field operations and client relationship management.




Job Overview 




This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition. You will lead field efforts, nurture customer relationships, and ensure operational excellence through data-driven sales practices.






Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition


  • Drive field sales efforts to meet and exceed sales targets


  • Identify and onboard new distributors, retailers, and wholesalers


  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and growth


  • Conduct regular market visits to gather insights and monitor competitor activity


  • Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage customer data, sales activities, and reporting


  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and conduct meetings with prospects


  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional deals with clients


  • Align sales initiatives with marketing efforts to increase brand visibility and engagement


  • Provide accurate weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, customer insights, and market trends


  • Maintain and update client records in the CRM system


  • Monitor industry trends and emerging market opportunities


  • Continuously optimize sales processes and forecasting accuracy







Requirements





  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field


  • 2–3 years of field sales experience in the footwear, plastics, or FMCG industry.


  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth, preferably in the PVC manufacturing sector


  • Solid understanding of the PVC footwear market and customer segments


  • Experience working with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar


  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills


  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and build long-term client relationships


  • Highly organized, self-driven, and proactive


  • Willingness to travel regularly within Lagos and neighboring regions
