Job Description - Sales Executives

Our client is an asset management firm that provides managed funds and bespoke portfolio services to give investors access to diverse asset classes and tailored solutions.

 

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and promoting our range of asset management products and services to potential investors. This is a key role in driving the growth and profitability of our business, with a focus on identifying and securing new investment opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow the client base and increase assets under management (AUM).
  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients, including high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), institutional investors, and corporate clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Present and explain our asset management solutions, including mutual funds, private equity, ETFs, and other investment products to potential clients.
  • Educate clients on market trends, investment strategies, and the benefits of diversifying their portfolios with our products.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements with clients, providing them with a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments, economic trends, and regulatory changes affecting the asset management industry.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while interacting with clients and promoting products



Requirements

  • Minimum of Second Class Lower/Lower Credit - HND/BSc
  • At least 1 year of direct sales experience in financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of asset management products and services, such as mutual funds, ETFs, private equity, and alternative investments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close sales, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
