Job Description - Sales Officer

  • Demonstrate
    CSCS
      digital centre services to existing/potential
    customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

  • Establish,
    develop and maintain business relationships with existing customers and
    prospective customers in the assigned market segment to generate new business.

  • Effective project
    execution/management of exiting project with clients

  • Interface with
    existing and prospective customer via telephone

  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine
    their potential.

  • Develop clear
    and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective
    customers.

  • Expedite the
    resolution of customer problems and complaints.

  • Coordinate sales
    effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical
    service initiatives.

  • Analyse the
    market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective
    customer’s value to the organization.

  • Create and manage
    a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and
    value opportunities.

  • Identify advantages and compare organization’s
    services with competitors

  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy by
    maximising the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.

  • Generate reports on customer needs, problems,
    interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services.

  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical
    services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and
    promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting
    with marketing and technical service areas.

  • Participate in trade shows and conventions to show case CSCS services agencies on emergency
    and security endeavours.



Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from
    a reputable institution.

  • 3 - 5 years of post -graduation experience in B2B Sales,
    with at least two (2) years’ experience selling to large corporate and government
    institutions

  • Excellent
    communication, planning, time management, leadership, budgeting and employee development
    skills
