Job Description - Sales Officer

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both passenger and logistics transport segments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Conduct sales visits, presentations, and product/service demonstrations.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and service agreements to prospective clients.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Keep accurate records of client interactions, sales, and follow -ups using CRM tools and company templates.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of services promised to clients.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
  • Provide feedback and reports on client needs, challenges, and service improvement areas.


Requirements

  • OND/HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the transport industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Good knowledge of the required location and other major Nigerian cities’ road networks is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
