Job Description - Sales Operations Officer (Educational Consultancy)

Our client is a niche educational consulting firm dedicated to crafting bespoke educational experiences through collaborative partnerships with schools, learning organizations, and communities.

About the Role

The Company is seeking to hire a Sales Operations Officer who will be responsible for driving the growth of the company’s online bookstore and assist with the seamless implementation of the company’s educational programs.

The successful candidate will blend sales operations, content creation, and administrative support to drive the success of partnerships with various schools. This multifaceted role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited about reading and books in general.

Key Responsibilities

Write engaging and well-crafted product descriptions, reviews.

Manage and update the online shop with new book listings, stock levels, prices, and promotional offers.

Process and fulfill online orders, coordinate packaging, and oversee timely delivery.

Manage inventory procurement and restocking.

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints via email, chat, and social media.

Carry out frequent Sales reporting.

Maintain customer and sales databases, issue invoices, and reconcile payments.

Prepare routine sales reports, inventory summaries, and purchase orders..

Support the Operations team in preparing and executing educational programs.

Perform routine office duties such as filing, correspondence, and data entry.

Provide support for special projects and company initiatives as required.

Requirements

Key Requirements

First degree in Education, English, Marketing, Communication, or a Social Science related field.

1+ year of relevant experience in retail/e-commerce sales support, operations, or content writing, preferably in educational services.

Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive product descriptions.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Customer service-oriented with a solution-focused mindset.

Comfortable using e-commerce platforms, inventory management tools, social media, and Microsoft Office.

Strong commitment to reading, literacy, and child-centered learning.

Compensation: Guaranteed Base Pay N80k + Sales Commission and Performance Bonus
