LITERACY
The Literacy Teacher (Primary School) will be responsible for carrying out the core duties associated with the position and applying the specialist knowledge and skills identified in the recruitment brief. This position covers: Class Teacher Year 3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver literacy learning for Year 3 pupils in line with the school's British Primary curriculum.
- Develop pupils' reading, writing, phonics, comprehension, spelling and communication skills through structured lessons and activities.
- Use appropriate phonics approaches, including Read Write Inc or Jolly Phonics where applicable.
- Assess pupils' progress and use learning evidence to support differentiated instruction.
