Scum Desweetening Operator

Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc is seeking a dedicated and physically capable Scum Desweetening Operator to support our production team. This role is ideal for individuals with a science background and a strong drive to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the scum desweetening unit, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the scum desweetening unit efficiently and safely.
• Monitor sweet water parameters, including flow, Brix, color, and pH levels.
• Set and adjust operational parameters for the scum clarifier and chemical dosing.
• Maintain the desweetening unit in good working condition through routine checks and basic maintenance.
• Ensure cleanliness and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all unit activities.
• Collaborate with TALO Operators, Scum Dewatering Operators, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift TALO Supervisor.

Educational Qualification: OND in any science-based discipline. Candidates with a high school certificate and strong potential will also be considered.

Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided.
