Secondary School Subject Teacher (Year 7 to 10)

• Teach according to the National Curriculum for England and Wales. 
• Set clear learning objectives, assess student progress, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Create and deliver engaging and interactive lessons plan that align with the school's curriculum guidelines
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment. 
• Assess and record student progress, preparing them for national tests. 
• Support school policies and objectives, ensuring students’ safety and conflict resolution. 
• Attend parent-teacher conferences and meetings, participating in school events. 
• Uphold professional standards, engage in professional development, and contribute to school management.
• Design in-person instruction that is enriched (developing higher-order thinking skills) and personalized learning levels and interests of individual students
• Be a positive role model for students and support the mission of school 
• Ensure health and safety measures are followed. 
  

• Demonstrate professionalism and cultural inclusivity. 
• Understand and adhere to school policies and guidelines. 
• Prioritise safeguarding of children. 
• Attend assemblies and actively assist in the supervision of pupils
• Promote good attendance and monitor in accordance with the School’s attendance policy.
• Be available for all parent-teacher conferences.
• Attend all relevant meetings, including planning and training meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field with teaching certification.
  
• Additional certifications and 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  
• British curriculum teaching experience is a MUST.
