Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain backend components for trading applications, APIs, and blockchain integrations.
- Implement new products, features, and enhancements using agile methodologies, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
- Ensure scalability and performance of backend services to support growing user activity.
- Build and maintain secure backend systems, adhering to best practices and high security standards.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and security teams to integrate and optimize services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, contributing to platform stability and reliability.
- Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to long-term backend strategy.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript development.
- Experience with microservices architecture and backend system design.
- Solid understanding of database interactions (MySQL, MongoDB) and data management.
- Familiarity with high-availability concepts and scalable system design.
- Knowledge of security practices for backend systems.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus skills: blockchain integration, Ruby, Rust, C++, message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
