Senior Compliance Officer

• Monitor compliance with CBN regulations, AML/CFT/CPF, KYC, NDPA, and payment industry requirements.
  
  


• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and control testing.
  
  


• Develop and review compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  
  


• Monitor and investigate compliance breaches and regulatory incidents.
  
  


• Support regulatory reporting, audits, inspections, and engagements with regulators.
  
  


• Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on their impact.
  
  


• Work with Risk, Internal Audit, IT, Information Security, Finance, and Legal teams on compliance matters.
  
  


• Monitor AML/KYC, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and customer due diligence processes.
  
  


• Track compliance findings and ensure timely remediation.
  
  


• Provide compliance guidance and training to employees.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
  
  


• 7+ years' experience in compliance, risk, audit, AML, banking, fintech, or financial services.
  
  


• Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial services and fintech regulatory requirements.
  
  


• Experience in AML/CFT, KYC, regulatory risk, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
  
  


• Strong analytical, communication, investigation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  
  


• Relevant certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CISA, CRISC, or CFE will be an advantage.
