KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leading subsurface workflows, assurance processes and iterative methods to move from opportunity ID to execution.
Lead reservoir simulation studies to evaluate reservoir performance and develop production enhancement strategies. This include participating in the production of the reservoir's Static Model and make the reservoir's Dynamic Model, taking into consideration any contributions from other disciplines, with the aim of forecasting the production, its behavior and identifying appropriate improvement actions.
Performing advanced reservoir modelling and characterization, integrating geological, petrophysical, and production data to identify reservoir potential.
Analyzing well performance and proposing reservoir management strategies to maximize recovery. Identify opportunities for increasing the recovery factor of the reservoirs. Define and carry out actions aimed at improving the well's productivity.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, geophysicists, and production engineers, to optimize reservoir performance.
Lead and collaborate on calculating reserves and prepare supporting information for closing Reserves for the annual economic valuation of the project/asset.
Utilizing advanced software and tools to simulate, monitor, and predict reservoir behaviour.
Contributing to reservoir surveillance and monitoring programs to ensure optimal production and recovery rates.
Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and colleagues.
Evaluate opportunities and consider development scenarios to support exploration and new business processes.
Plan the number of development wells, their type and characteristics, in accordance with the project's geological, logistical and technical complexity.
Continuously monitor reservoir production and behavior, its decline and the evolution of key parameters such as the Gas-Oil Ratio (GOR) and Water-Oil Ratio (WOR): with the aim of taking actions for the optimization of the exploitation plan.
