Job Description - Service Officer

To ensure that PalmPay Dormitory is maintained in a clean, safe, and welcoming state while providing high-quality hospitality services, including bar tending and general support to residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Hospitality & Bar Tending Duties

Serve beverages to residents and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain inventory of bar items, including restocking supplies as needed.
Ensure bar and lounge areas are clean, well-stocked, and welcoming at all times.
Prepare simple cocktails and drinks based on standard recipes.
Uphold hygiene, health, and safety regulations in bar service.

Cleaning & Sanitation Duties

Clean and maintain dormitory rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas to company hygiene standards.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored correctly.
Carry out deep-cleaning tasks periodically or when requested.
Report damages, faults, or maintenance needs in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Requirements:

HND/OND in any discipline; hospitality training or certification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in bar tending and/or hospitality industry.
Good knowledge of beverage/drinks preparation and hygiene standards.
Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
Friendly personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Attributes:

Courteous and respectful demeanor.
Strong team spirit and initiative.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
