Our client is a leading Mechanical and Electrical Contractor within the Construction Industry and they are looking for a

Service Technician in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Install, service, maintain, test, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and system faults.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and service requests.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and testing.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Replace faulty components and carry out necessary repairs.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare service reports and escalate technical issues to the Service Manager.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Liaise with clients and provide technical support where required.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure all work complies with company quality, safety, and HSE standards.
  
  

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  OND, HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic, or a related field.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  2–5 years of relevant experience in equipment servicing, maintenance, or installation.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of electrical testing and maintenance procedures.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
