Job Objective
The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects. Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
Supervise and coordinate the work of site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets or exceeds specifications and standards.
Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
Prepare and manage project budgets. Track expenses and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. Address any issues or concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
Desired Skills and Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management for civil construction projects.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in urban environments.
Familiarity with Nigerian construction standards and practices.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
