Conduct of searches and verifications at the Lands Registries, corporate searches at the
Corporate Affairs Commission, the Courts, and various other Government Agencies.
Drafting and review of Court processes up to the High Courts and filing at the Courts, and appearance in proceedings at such Courts.
Drafting and review of commercial agreements and contracts
Attending meetings and taking minutes at such meetings, and general company secretarial services functions.
Liaising with relevant Government Business Regulatory Agencies and obtaining necessary approvals, permits, and licenses
Liaising with and representing clients at the investigating units/departments of law enforcement agencies
Provision of general legal advisory services on diverse areas of law
Requirements
Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from a recognised University in Nigeria or abroad and a qualifying Barrister at Law Certificate (B.L) from the Nigerian Law School.
A minimum of a second-class upper degree and Certificate scores;
Must have completed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Core Scheme;
The candidates should have a range of 2 - 4 years of working experience as a legal practitioner. Experience in a private firm will be an added advantage.
