Solicitor/Advocate

• Conduct of searches and verifications at the Lands Registries, corporate searches at the
  


• Corporate Affairs Commission, the Courts, and various other Government Agencies.
  


• Drafting and review of Court processes up to the High Courts and filing at the Courts, and appearance in proceedings at such Courts.
  


• Drafting and review of commercial agreements and contracts
  


• Attending meetings and taking minutes at such meetings, and general company secretarial services functions.
  


• Liaising with relevant Government Business Regulatory Agencies and obtaining necessary approvals, permits, and licenses
  


• Liaising with and representing clients at the investigating units/departments of law enforcement agencies
  


• Provision of general legal advisory services on diverse areas of law
  

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from a recognised University in Nigeria or abroad and a qualifying Barrister at Law Certificate (B.L) from the Nigerian Law School.
  


• A minimum of a second-class upper degree and Certificate scores;
  


• Must have completed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Core Scheme;
  


• The candidates should have a range of 2 - 4 years of working experience as a legal practitioner. Experience in a private firm will be an added advantage.
