Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Supervisor to oversee operations at our fashion house in Lekki. The ideal candidate must possess strong supervisory and leadership skills, a proven ability to sew, and experience operating industrial sewing machines. This role requires someone with both technical expertise and managerial competence to lead a team of tailors, ensure top-quality production, and support day-to-day operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the tailoring and production team.

• Ensure all garments meet quality standards and are delivered within set timelines.

• Operate and guide others in the use of industrial sewing machines.

• Provide training and mentorship to tailors to improve productivity and craftsmanship.

• Collaborate with the design team to interpret and execute garment specifications.

• Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and staff performance.

• Assist with basic accounting and expense tracking.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production or personnel issues promptly.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a tailoring or fashion production environment.

• Must be proficient in sewing and using industrial sewing machines.

• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial tracking.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment.

• Passion for fashion and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
