 Position Title: Supply Chain Lead

Functional Area: Supply Chain

Reports To: Procurement & Distribution Manager

Location: Lagos

Position Summary

As Supply Chain Lead,  you are responsible for overseeing the allocation, transportation, and setup of assets in the cities you cover. This role ensures timely and cost-effective procurement, delivery, and installation of necessary components while maintaining strict adherence to budget and deployment schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities  

Procurement Management

• Identify and source high-quality vehicles, spare parts, and related services that align with Gigmile’s standards.
  

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service level agreements to optimize costs without
  

compromising quality.

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet business needs and support growth plans.
  

Distribution Management

• Oversee the distribution of vehicles and parts to ensure timely and accurate deliveries across the country.
  

• Optimize distribution networks to minimize costs and improve service efficiency.
  

• Track and report on transportation performance, implementing improvements as needed.
  

Vehicle Setup & Readiness

• Ensure that all vehicles procured meet predefined quality standards, conducting thorough inspections and coordinating with suppliers to address any deficiencies or issues.
  

• Oversee the pre-delivery preparation of vehicles, including registration, documentation, and the installation of required equipment or accessories, to ensure they are ready for immediate deployment
  

Requirements

Requirements  

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics operations.
  

• Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and logistics coordination.
  

• Ability to analyze data and generate insights for operational efficiency.
  

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
