Tax Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and detail -oriented Tax Accountant to
join our client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing
tax -related activities, ensuring compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, and
supporting the organization in maintaining accurate tax records and payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle selected state government audits.
  
• Collect, review, and update local state tax laws.
  
• Prepare and implement annual tax payment plans.
  
• Gather tax vouchers and receipts from stores and maintain
  comprehensive tax files.
  
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and statutory
  requirements.
  
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as
  needed.
  

Requirements

✅ bachelor’s
degree in accounting, Finance, or Financial Audit.
✅ Minimum of 3
years’ experience in a finance or tax -related
role.
✅ Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
✅ Excellent attention to detail and strong
analytical skills.
