Job Description - Technical Assistant

Our Client needs a Technical Assistant in her company. In an educational consultancy center focused on preparing students for international exams and assisting with travel-related documentation such as visas, a technical assistant would have several important roles. These roles might include:

  1. Technical Support: Providing technical support for students and staff members using educational software, online learning platforms, or any technology used in exam preparation or administrative tasks.

  2. Exam Preparation Assistance: Assisting students with technical aspects related to exam preparation, such as troubleshooting issues with practice tests, accessing study materials online, or utilizing educational software effectively.

  3. Documentation and Record Keeping: Managing and organizing student records, exam registrations, and other documentation required for international exams, visa applications, and travel arrangements.

  4. Visa and Travel Assistance: Helping students navigate the visa application process by providing guidance on required documentation, visa application procedures, and deadlines. Assisting with travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.

  5. Data Management and Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data related to student performance, exam outcomes, visa success rates, and other metrics to assess the effectiveness of educational programs and identify areas for improvement.

  6. Communication and Liaison: Serving as a point of contact for students, parents, educational institutions, and exam authorities regarding technical inquiries, exam schedules, visa requirements, and travel logistics.

  7. Training and Orientation: Conducting training sessions or orientations for students on how to use educational technology, access study materials, and prepare effectively for international exams. Providing guidance on visa application procedures, interview preparation, and travel tips.

  8. Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines related to educational testing, visa processing, and travel documentation. Staying informed about changes in exam formats, visa requirements, and immigration policies.

  9. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and technical issues promptly and professionally. Building rapport with students and families to establish trust and confidence in the services provided by the educational consultancy center.

  10. Continuous Improvement: Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and services within the educational consultancy center by providing feedback, suggesting improvements, and participating in professional development activities.



Requirements

OND Degree with at least 1-3 years experience as a Technical Assistant in an educational consult center.
