Job Description - Technical Sales Officer

JOB TITLE: Technical Sales Officer (2 Positions)

LOCATION: Lagos

INDUSTRY Engineering & Power Solutions

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time

An established engineering and power solutions company is seeking experienced and result-driven Technical Sales Officers to drive revenue growth through the sale of generators, power solutions, spare parts, and related technical services.

This role is ideal for ambitious and commercially minded professionals who are confident in their ability to generate leads, close deals, and earn through a strong commission-based structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors

- Generate leads, build a strong sales pipeline, and aggressively follow up on prospects

- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients

- Negotiate pricing and close sales within approved terms

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers

- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and market engagement activities

- Provide basic technical guidance on generators, power solutions, and related products

- Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)

- 3â6 years experience in technical sales, preferably within generators, engineering, construction, or industrial products

- Proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets

- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

- Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven

- Comfortable working in a performance and commission-based environment

- Candidates with existing industry networks and client relationships

- Individuals experienced in field sales and client acquisition

- Strong closers with a passion for sales and business development
