ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Technical & Project Research Associate provides analytical and technical support to the Project teams by conducting research, compiling data, and developing reports that inform project planning, execution, and continuous improvement. This role ensures compliance with ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards while supporting innovation, risk assessment, and technical documentation. The position contributes to project efficiency, technical accuracy, and evidence-based decision-making across construction projects
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct technical research on construction methodologies, materials, equipment, and emerging technologies to support project planning and execution.
Compile and analyze project data, including cost estimates, timelines, resource requirements, and risk assessments, ensuring alignment with ISO standards.
Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and benchmarking analyses for management review and project decision-making.
Support project documentation control, ensuring all technical documents, drawings, and specifications comply with ISO documentation requirements.
Assist in developing project risk registers, identifying potential hazards, and recommending mitigation strategies in line with ISO 45001 standards.
Coordinate with project teams to gather site data, monitor progress, and validate technical assumptions against actual performance.
Maintain a research database of industry best practices, regulatory updates, and innovative solutions relevant to construction projects.
Support quality assurance activities, including technical audits, compliance checks, and continual improvement initiatives.
Prepare presentations and technical briefs for internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy of information.
Assist in sustainability and environmental impact research, supporting compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.
Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to evaluate vendor specifications and technical proposals.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of technical data, adhering to approved procedures and ISO-compliant document control practices.
Track project progress and milestones, update project dashboards, and provide timely status reports to stakeholders to ensure alignment with project schedules
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in technical research, project analysis, or construction engineering
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001 standards and their application in construction projects.
Proficiency in data analysis tools, technical writing, and project documentation systems
