Warehouse Associate, Enugu

Summary: 

This role is critical to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of warehouse operations. The individual will be responsible for managing the flow of merchandise, ensuring accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing inventory, and upholding strict standards for safety, organization, and compliance. By diligently tracking inventory, identifying discrepancies, and supporting inventory accuracy through regular audits, the role contributes directly to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The position demands attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.

Responsibilities: 

- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse. 

- Receive and document incoming shipments and returns with precision. 

- Identify and report missing, lost, or damaged materials to the supervisor immediately. 

- Ensure all items are securely packed, properly labeled, and handled with care during shipping. 

- Support the organization and layout of the warehouse in alignment with established SOPs. 

- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional warehouse environment at all times. 

- Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) principles when storing and issuing stock. 

- Assist in preparing management reports on a scheduled basis. 

- Participate in periodic spot checks and full stock-taking activities.
