PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Provide supervisory oversight of the warehouse operations to ensure productivity targets, quality standards, and customer service levels are achieved within the specified timelines

THE JOB

• Manage the receiving, shipping, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight, products, and supplies in and out of the warehouse.
• Maintain appropriate and complete documentation of all products/goods in the warehouse.
• Ensure all Sales orders are shipped to customers on time in adherence to delivery schedules.
• Ensure that cycle and scheduled stock counts are done within agreed timelines.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of the warehouse and the inventory therein regularly.
• Ensure that forklift operator maintain the batches allocated when picking and loading products.
• Proper record keeping of all inventory movements in and out of the Depot.
• Ensure that waybills and invoices are raised and duly signed before dispatch.
• Pursue the FIFO (First In, First Out) stock administration technique to accomplish no expiry or write-off.

• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.

QUALIFICATION

• BSc/HND in Supply Chain & Logistics Management or any related degree.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years of experience in similar role.
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
