Job Description - Wealth Manager - Team Lead, Private Client Services


Job Scope

As the Wealth Manager (Team Lead) services at Bamboo, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNI). You will be tasked with acquiring new HNI clients and working closely with existing ones to maximize their investment activities with Bamboo. This role is a blend of sales & relationship management. You will need to provide consultations on assets available at Bamboo to your HNI clients, helping clients make informed decisions that align with their financial goals.

You are expected to drive engagement, increase investment volume and value from new and existing clients, and manage a portfolio of HNIs with a proactive, personalized approach. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring Bamboo is the go-to platform for their investment needs.

What you will be doing:


  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new HNI individual clients, cultivating relationships with potential investors.


  • Manage relationships with existing HNI clients to increase their investment volume across investment assets available on Bamboo.


  • Provide personalized investment consultations and advice, tailoring financial solutions to each client’s goals and risk appetite.


  • Actively monitor clients’ portfolios and provide recommendations to optimize investment returns and manage risk.


  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure client satisfaction and high retention rates.


  • Stay updated on market trends and Bamboo’s product offerings to provide clients with accurate, relevant advice.


  • Ensure clients receive top-tier service through regular communication, portfolio reviews, and financial planning sessions.


  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver personalized investment reports and updates.


  • Organize and attend events, webinars, and other networking opportunities aimed at HNI acquisition and relationship building.


  • Monitor and report on HNI client portfolio performance, identifying opportunities for further investment and client growth.


  • Provide feedback on product offerings and suggest improvements that could drive better client engagement and satisfaction.


  • Support with organizing virtual events such as spaces, webinars, online, offline workshops etc that drive HNI user conversion.


Experience, Skills and Behaviors Requirement:


  • 5-10 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or related fields.


  • Strong understanding of equity and fixed-income assets, and broader investment markets.


  • You’re the friend that always keeps in touch. A proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships with HNIs.


  • Ability to provide financial advisory services and guide clients through complex investment decisions.


  • Sales-oriented with a deep understanding of the financial needs of high-net-worth individuals.


  • Strong communication, persuasion and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to clients.


  • High level of professionalism and a client-first mindset, dedicated to achieving clients’ financial objectives.


  • You are self-driven. You don’t wait to be told what to do. All you need are your goals and you’re on your way to crushing them.


  • Positive energy, optimism about the future, and determination to meet ambitious goals.


  • Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.


  • Financial news junkie. You can stay updated with market trends, regulatory changes, and product developments in the financial industry.
