Job Description - Worker Onboarding & Quality Manager (Domestic Services)




ABOUT COMPANY







A fast-growing platform connecting households with trusted, verified domestic workers, including cleaners, housekeepers, nannies, cooks, and chefs.



We are building a premium, safety-first marketplace, and we’re looking for someone who will ensure only the best, most reliable workers join our platform.







Role Overview







We are hiring a Worker Onboarding & Quality Manager to lead the sourcing, screening, verification, and onboarding of domestic workers across Lagos. This role is critical to maintaining a high-quality standards and trust. You will be responsible for ensuring that every worker on the platform is skilled, trustworthy, and professional.







Key Responsibilities



1. Worker Sourcing & Recruitment



a. Identify and recruit domestic workers (housekeepers, cleaners, nannies, cooks, chefs)



b. Build sourcing channels (referrals, field recruitment, partnerships)







2. Screening & Interviews



a. Conduct interviews to assess:



b. Experience



c. Behavior and attitude



d. Reliability and trustworthiness



e. Identify red flags and reject unsuitable candidates







3. Verification & Documentation



a. Verify identity (ID, address, references)



b. Ensure all workers meet company’s verification standards



c. Maintain accurate onboarding records







4. Training & Onboarding Train workers on:



a. Professional conduct



b. Communication with clients



c. The company service standards



d. Set clear expectations before approval







5. Quality Control



a. Monitor worker performance after onboarding



b. Handle feedback from clients



c. Recommend suspension or removal of low-quality workers







6. Collaboration



a. Work closely with customer support and operations teams



b. Assist in resolving disputes involving workers


Requirements



Requirements Must-Have



a. 2–5 years experience in



b. Domestic staffing agencies, OR



c. Hospitality (housekeeping, supervision), OR



d. Recruitment / HR (practical experience)







Skills



a. Strong judgment and ability to assess people



b. Excellent interviewing and communication skills



c. High attention to detail



d. Ability to manage multiple candidates and processes



e. Strong integrity and professionalism







Lagos-Specific Advantage



a. Good understanding of Lagos neighbourhoods and dynamics



b. Ability to interact with workers from different backgrounds



c. Street-smart and culturally aware
