Marketing Manager

A Solar Energy Company in Lagos is in need of a capable marketing manager to join its team. This role requirements include tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, ensuring that all marketing material is in line with company brand identity, and increasing brand visibility. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with graphics design, web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects. Ultimately, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels. Marketing Manager Responsibilities

• Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about the company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
• Coordinate with management to deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
• Initiate a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
• Produce Graphics for social media and other company branding
• Produce valuable and engaging written content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
• Manage Social media channels.
• Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
• Prepare and monitor the marketing budgets
• Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to product brochures and profiles.
• Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess them against set goals
• Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.

• Demonstrable experience in marketing
• Aptitude to take ownership and responsibility
• Aptitude to learn and get with company programs quickly.
• Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading campaigns across marketing channels that engage, educate and motivate.
• Graphic design skills.
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends)
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns/SEO.
• Comfortable working with numbers, and processing figures with spreadsheets
• A sense of aesthetics and a love for great writing and witty communication.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• BSc/HND degree in Marketing or related field; or reasonable experience in similar role as prerequisite.
