Strategy Associate

Position Overview:

The Strategy Associate role is responsible for driving Matta’s strategy. This role will involve consistently monitoring business performance, while leveraging market and industry insights to identify improvement opportunities and support management’s decision-making.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Business Advisory Manager, as related to strategy, business performance and intelligence.  
• Support in developing and revising periodic corporate and business strategy plans for Matta.  
• Support in facilitating strategy & planning sessions. 
• Create business performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.  
• Create and share periodic industry insights with staff. 
• Collaborate with senior team members to support the execution of strategic projects across departments.  
• Monitor and report on the implementation of all strategic projects across departments.  
• Support the development of reporting dashboards to track the progress and impact of strategy.  
• Conduct regular market and industry research to identify key CRIC needs across markets, market trends, potential competitors, and other external factors that could impact business operations.  
• Define clear hypotheses to identify new opportunities, build business cases and quantitative models to support business expansion and growth.  
• Support in monitoring and improving operational processes to enhance performance.  
• Prepare business proposal concepts, plans and other documents for teams.  
• Support creation and implementation of CSR and SDG projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, business management or any other field.  
  
• A minimum of 1 year, relevant work experience in management consulting, technology or business advisory related role (especially in a consulting firm)  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.  
  
• High attention to detail and fast learner.  
  
• Strong interpersonal skills.  
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft office especially Excel and PowerPoint.  
  
• Project Management.
  
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. 
  
• Strong research skills and business acumen.
