Job Description - Data Analyst

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst to support our data operations and analytical initiatives. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to data-driven decision-making by ensuring data accuracy, performing analysis, and delivering actionable insights. The intern will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, preparing datasets for analysis, and translating complex data into clear, visual, and strategic reports. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to develop practical skills in data management and analysis while supporting impactful business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Accurately input and maintain data in databases and spreadsheets following established protocols.
Perform regular quality checks to ensure data integrity, consistency, and completeness.
Cleanse and preprocess datasets to identify and resolve inconsistencies, errors, and anomalies.
Organize, format, and structure data to prepare it for analysis.
Apply statistical and data analysis techniques to explore large datasets.
Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to generate meaningful insights.
Develop reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Validate data accuracy through systematic verification and reconciliation processes.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, documenting root causes and solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analytical approaches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and project goals.
Present insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
