Digital Marketing Intern

Optimal Greening is seeking a passionate Digital Marketing Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team for a two to three months intensive opportunity in Lagos. You'll create engaging digital content, execute social media strategies, and analyze campaign performance to amplify our life-changing WASH, clean energy, and sanitation programs.

Reporting to the Communications Lead, you'll gain practical skills in content creation, digital analytics, and nonprofit storytelling while contributing to campaigns that drive donor engagement, partnerships, and program scaling. This opportunity is perfect for marketing students or early-career professionals eager to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok etc.)
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support campaign strategies
• Support email marketing campaigns, SEO efforts, and content development
• Track and analyze performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and social insights
• Collaborate with the creative team on branding and campaign ideas
  Stay up-to-date with digital trends and suggest innovative ideas for growth
• Analyze content performance and suggest improvements based on engagement metrics.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in digital marketing, branding, and content creation
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital tools
• Creative thinker with strong writing and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and willing to learn fast
• Familiarity with Canva, Capcut, and Google Workspace Suite.
