Job Description - Inventory Admin - Ikeja




We are looking for a reliable inventory admin intern to join our growing company.







Your tasks will include monitoring and maintaining accurate records of the company's inventory levels. You will also be responsible for reviewing inventory levels to ensure efficient stocking levels as well as performing a weekly analysis of stock movements. 







The ideal candidate is trust-worthy with outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. They will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills as well as extreme attention to detail.





TASKS



  • Maintain and update inventory records using our cloud-based inventory management software

  • Report discrepancies between physical counts and digital records

  • Record and track stock levels

  • Monitor distribution of stock from Head Office to our retail locations

  • Check supplies against invoice and purchase orders

  • Undertake monthly physical inventory counts

  • Receive, sort and label new inventory from the factory

  • Transfer stock from Head Office to physical stores

  • Fulfill online orders on Shopify

  • Create purchase orders to replenish stock

  • Create reports on inventory positions and best-selling products and recommendations for inventory optimization






Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Some book-keeping training is preferred. You don't have to be qualified yet but some accounting training would be helpful

  • Experience with Shopify or other ecommerce software is an advantage

  • No degree required but you need to be open-minded and teachable

  • Female under 30 preferred





SKILLS



  • Meticulous record-keeping ability

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Possess strong analytical and observation skills

  • Excellent numeracy skills

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, in particular working with CSV imports and exports and familiarity with Excel functions and keyboard shortcuts

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Reliable and trust-worthy






Benefits

WORKING HOURS



This is a part-time position requiring you to work 30 hours a week during our working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.









REMUNERATION



You will be paid hourly based on hours worked. The hourly wage is ₦600/hr and will be paid monthly in arrears.









LOCATION



The role is on-site in Ikeja, Lagos


DURATION



The role is flexible but we would like at least a one-year commitment
