Program Intern (Startup NGO)

About Company: Our client is a non\-governmental organization that is committed to mentoring, empowering and supporting the youth and women through capacity building.

The Client is seeking to engage the service of an intelligent Program Intern who will support project officers to contribute significantly to the achievement of the company’s broad goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with project teams and across project workflows from project ideation, project implementation, media/communication, finance, operations and contribute significantly to the achievement of broad organizational objectives.

Support project officers to ensure adequate research, data collection, data analysis, proposal writing, collection of program information from surveys/questionnaires, implementation, post\-implementation activities and reporting.

Work with program managers to develop program plan and documentation.

Engage on community cluster activities where required to ensure adequate communication, seamless project implementation and impact assessments.

Engage both internal and external stakeholders to achieve sustained communication, information, transfer, research, reporting and learning pointers.

Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

Requirements:

First degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, International Development, Statistics or in any relevant field.

1\-3 years of experience as a program officer preferably in a non\-governmental organization.

Impeccable attention to details, problem solving and innovative mindset, strong team spirit, culturally and politically diverse.

Ability to multi\-task in a fast\-paced environment.

Good command of social media dynamics.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Innovative mindset, strong team spirit, communication skills and ability to learn fast.

Fluent in spoken and written English (inclusive of Hausa for applicants in Abuja).

Benefits

Compensation: N50k per month (possibility of permanent contract upon satisfactory performance)
