Agro-Consulting Intern

Job Overview: We are an ambitious agriculture consultancy in Lago s on a mission to transform the sector. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic AgroConsulting Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience while contributing to meaningful projects that make a difference in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on agronomic practices crop management techniques and agricultural technologies.
  
• Assist in collecting and analysing data related to soil health crop performance and environmental factors.
  
• Participate in client meetings field visits and presentations.
  
• Compile and summarise research findings into actionable insights for clients.
  
• Support consulting projects by preparing project proposals reports presentations and recommendations for clients.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to clients needs.
  
• Participate in field visits farm trials and demonstrations to gain practical experience and insights.
  
• Assist in the implementation of agricultural technologies and practices to improve efficiency and sustainability.
  
• Collaborate with team members to identify challenges and opportunities in agriculture.
  
• Propose innovative solutions and strategies to address client needs and
  
• Participate in training sessions workshops and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge in agriculture and consulting.
  
• Take initiative in learning new tools techniques and technologies relevant to agricultural consulting.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• HND or B.sc in Agricultural Sciences or related field
  
• Must be a corper in Lagos who is looking for PPA
  
• Strong passion for agriculture and a desire to make a positive impact on farming practices.
  
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with agricultural software/tools is a plus.
  
• Previous internship or course work experience in agriculture is preferred but not required.

The requirements listed below are representative of the Knowledge, Skill and/or ability required to perform this job satisfactorily: Bachelor 's degree in Sales, Business, Agriculture, or a related field. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture or FMCG industries. Strong knowledge of agriculture and farm products, particularly the products offered by the farm. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Proven negotiation and sales presentation skills. Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed. Passion for sustainable agriculture and promoting local food systems.
