Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Paylater is seeking a Remote Accountant to join our growing team in Lagos, NG. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial records and transactions in a remote setting. This part-time position is ideal for entry-level accountants looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries - Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Generate financial reports for management review - Work closely with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies - Provide support for external audits as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Resourceful and confident in tackling new challenges - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
